Phoebe Hamilton Jones is a Policy Analyst working within the Planetary Praxis research group in the Department of Sociology at the University of Cambridge.
Phoebe splits her time between this role and her role as a Senior Social Researcher in the Environmental Land Management Evaluation team at Defra. She also sits on the Secretariat of Defra’s Social Science Expert Group. Phoebe is interested in the intersections between policy making and academia, in the socio-political dynamics of rewilding and landscape regeneration, and in interdisciplinary approaches to environmental debates.
Phoebe’s academic background crosses humanities and social science disciplines. She has an MSc in Social and Cultural Anthropology from UCL and a BA in English Literature from the University of Cambridge.
